OOTD: Red, Leather & Bows

I recently had my first day of senior year, and of course I wanted to make a statement with my outfit. The morning of I was able to come up with this effortless, but chic outfit, and I've got to say I'M IN LOVE. I just love how this skirt flares out and the cut out details at the bottom are gorgeous. I also love that my shirt and heels match. Overall, I know that I will be wearing this outfit A LOT.

My Trip to Paris

Recently, my mother and I took a trip to Paris. All I can say is that it was the best week of my life. I never imagined I could fall in love with a city, like I fell in love with Paris. Everywhere I looked there was something beautiful. Since there is way too much to say about Paris, I decided to show my trip through pictures.

OOTD: The Black and White Trend

I am someone that is ALWAYS wearing color. So, when I heard about the black and white trend I was a little skeptical. The only time I ever wear just white and black is for a band concert, and even then I try to add some color with my accessories. I wanted to plan an outfit around my new shoes (which are the most gorgeous flats I've ever owned). Since they are very sparkly and elegant looking, I decided to go with a simpler and more classic outfit. And of course, knowing me I had to add some color into my outfit, in the form of my most beloved bag. Overall, I really enjoyed how this outfit came out and I will definitely be trying this trend again.

New Shoes! Heels and Booties

Recently I counted all my shoes and found that I have 70 pairs. For a regular person this would be more than enough, but for a shoe-a-holic like me, it's not. So, I went online and then went to store and ended up buying two new pairs of shoes that I'm obsessed with. I had to post them on my blog because they are just too amazing not to.

I've wanted the Jeffrey Campbell Lita booties for such a long time, but I did not want to pay $160 for them. Then, one day while browsing Amazon, I came across these babies and I knew I had to get them. First of all, they look exactly like the Jeffrey Campbell boots, and they only cost $38! (Another reason being that I saw Lydia Martin wearing similar ones on Teen Wolf  and I love her style.) I love these because they are very tall, but also comfortable because of the big platform. I also love this color because it will be so great in the fall and they will stand out among the darker colors that I wear.

Now as for these shoes... I remember walking through the isles of shoes at Nordstrom Rack, when I saw these. It was love at first sight. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. The best part was that they only cost $29.97, while I thought they would be hundreds. They were originally from the brand "Sole Society." I love them because they are so unique and look so expensive. The gray suede material and the silver/white snakeskin go so well together. Blair Waldorf would definitely approve. These photos definitely do not do them justice.

Fashion From The Show: The Carrie Diaries

Image from www.cwtv.com

Since Gossip Girl (aka my life) ended, I've been trying to watch some new shows to inspire my fashion just like Blair Waldorf had (even though I don't think anyone will ever compare). I started watching The Carrie Diaries when it recently aired, since it's about Carrie Bradshaw as a teen, and we all know she's into fashion. So far I'm not too crazy about the show, but I have to say I love seeing 80's fashion (instead of the Uggs and sweats I have to see everyday at school). I decided it would be fun to take some outfits that Carrie has worn so far on the show and create "inspired" looks.

Fashion Inspired by the Girls of 90210

After my beloved show Gossip Girl came to an end, I never thought I would find a show with such great fashion. Then I discovered the show 90210. While I'm not saying the fashion on this show is as great as on Gossip Girl, it is a close second. I love how each of the main characters has such a unique style that many different girls could relate to. Personally, Naomi's style is my favorite.Unfortunately, just like Gossip Girl, this show has come to an end. At least I still have my next favorite fashion-wise show, Pretty Little Liars which will surely never end. :)

Goodbye Gossip Girl: Serena van der Woodsen Fashion

Awhile ago, I did a post on Blair Waldorf's fashion from Gossip Girl. Since it's my favorite show, I thought why not and do some looks inspired by our "it" girl Serena van der Woodsen. Just because Blair is my ultimate style icon doesn't mean I don't like Serena's style, it's just not my favorite of the show. But I do have to admit I'm in love with Serena's formal wear.
